A Pediatric Design Built Around One Idea

Updated: 3 days ago

Opening up a pediatric office and scratching your head on where to start? First of all, a big congratulations for either opening or expanding your pediatric office. It is always nice to think of the end goal in mind with your first office opening because Our designers at Pediatric Office Furniture.com have had the privilege of helping many repeat customers expand their first initial concept into multiple offices.

So where do you start? One of the big questions that I ask my potential customer is what impression do you want to capture when you first walk into your new office? Are you looking for a fun and vibrant office with lots of bright colors or a calm and serene office decor with muted colors, possibly next to each other on the color wheel? You can also combine a color scheme with a theme like: space, ocean, spring, winter or even match the colors with your logo colors. Repeating colors within a design scheme is paramount to creating harmony within a pediatric office waiting room. So if you plan on 25 seats within your space, figure out how many times color can be repeated. For a colorful office, I would stop at 5 colors for 25 chairs as you can repeat that color scheme 5 times. Using fewer colors will work as well.

Here is a photo of a design plan that we are working on currently. Our customer sent us a photo of the mural that they are using and we picked colors to coordinate with that mural. I can't wait to see how the final product turns out. Either option would work but I like that they chose the slightly textured vinyl as they do serve to dress up the space.

We would love to help you design your office into a wonderland of color and ideas to complete your vision of your new space!
